1. Data Controller

The data controller within the meaning of the GDPR is the operator named in the imprint.

2. Data Collected

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide our platform:

• Name, email address (registration)
• Member data (on behalf of the dance school)
• Billing data and SEPA information
• Attendance data and course check-ins
• Technical data (IP address, browser type, access time)

3. Legal Basis

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in technical provision).

4. Data Processing

The dance school is the controller for member data. DanceDesk processes this data on their behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). A data processing agreement is concluded with each dance school.

5. Hosting and Storage

All data is stored on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. No data transfer to third countries takes place.

6. Email Delivery

For sending emails (password reset, invitations, invoices) we use Resend (Resend, Inc.). Email addresses are transmitted solely for delivery purposes.

7. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies for authentication (session cookie). No tracking or analytics cookies are used.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Contact us at info@dancedesk.de.
